Re-Opening Update

Assalaamu ‘Alaikum Brothers and Sisters,

Alhamdulliah, NIS masjid will be re-open for Fazar and Isha Fard prayers only

Starting from – Wednesday, August 26, 2020 – Isha Prayer.

All participants are requested to strictly follow CDC masking and social distancing policies as well as those listed below:

* Anyone unwell due to any reason is requested to pray at home.

* If you have travelled recently to the places which coronavirus has been affected or in contact with the person has been affected. Please isolate yourself from your community at least 2 weeks.

* Prayers will be performed in the Brothers’ Area – maximum of 10 participants between the ages of 13 and 65.

* Wudu must be made from home – wudu/restroom are closed.

* Enter the masjid from the masjid rear entrance-parking lot.

* Participants are compulsory to wear a face mask during their entire stay at the masjid

*  Bring your own individual prayer rug.

* Pray only in one of the demarcated areas.

* There will be no sign-up sheet to participate in prayer meetings.

Please note that NIS will not carry out any contact-tracing nor be liable to provide any information if there is any case of COVD-19 reported amongst participants. NIS team will monitor adherence to guidelines for at least two weeks as trial period.  If compliance is not at 100 percent during the trial period, NIS team will, regrettably, once again close the masjid.
